The ground floor of Healy Hall, a National Historic Landmark on Georgetown's main campus built in 1879, has its own unique history. Throughout the late 1800s and early 1900s, the ground floor was used as an indoor track for athletes such as Arthur Duffey, an Olympian track star who set a world record while at Georgetown.
